The conversation in the garden

" So, Yui is also a vampire, I really can't believe I promised her to stay for the night," sighed Atsuki again " I guess it won't be long till we part again," came a voice from behind the sakura tree " I can't believe I have started to miss what I've started here," said Reo while lying down on the grass. Winds starts to blow gently on Reo's face " How long are you planning to hide behind the tree?" " I'm sorry, I don't mean to listen to your conversation, I just happen to overheard it," apologized Katsuki " Why are you alone? Where's Atsuki? " " Yui have something private to tell Atsuki so I left and went to the garden," " So, you've met Yui, my teacher. Well, her appearance isn't how it seems, you know?" chuckled Reo "So, are you really planning to leave the human world?" " Yeah, I guess I really have to go this time," " Will we meet again?" " Its impossible, your memory's will be erased by the time Atsuki and I left this world. Therefore, Kozumi Reo and Atsuki will never appeared in this world," " Then, what is the meaning of this? If you come and leave taking everything with you, what is the purpose of coming?" shouted Atsuki, his feeling unstable " I'm sorry, maybe we should never met, from the day we met, I started to understand what are feelings which shouldn't even exist in my heart, I owe you too much, I'm sorry," " Reo, I.." " Kozumi-sama?" " Yui? I understand, I will start to prepare for the party tonight," and with that she rose from the ground " Just forget our conversation tonight, this is an unavoidable event, it will happen eventually even if you don't approved," after speaking, she left Katsuki followed by Yui
" So there you are, I was looking all over for you," " Atsuki, are you guys leaving?" " Huh, yeah, we are leaving, soon. " said Atsuki softly " Our plan was actually to stay here for 3 years but the Red Night is starting to be unstable, it has become a MUST for Reo to go back," " Our memories, is it a must to erased them?" " Yeah, this is because we have to ensure you all can live a life before we met," " But if we haven't met before, I would still be the same playboy," " Do you know that human actually possess 2 kinds of memories?" asked Atsuki " Memories are stored in the brain or the body, the memories stored in the brain will eventually be forgotten but the memories stored in the body will not be forgotten even though the brain has, your body will eventually move accordingly to what the response is," explained Atsuki " Then will my body still remember you guys?" " Who knows, just put those things aside ok? Do you want to have a peak at Reo before the party?" " Sure," and both of them left the garden and head to Reo's room.
" Where are you going?" " Isn't Reo's room here? " " That was just one of the guest room I put her in before you arrived, her room is here, followed me," Atsuki stopped in front of wall and started to enchant something " Why are you stopping in front of a wall?" Suddenly, a gust of wind came and a door miraculously appeared in front of Katsuki " That was really something," whistled Katsuki " Actually, the door was here for a long time, because you are human, I have to enchant a spell to make you see it, or else you might end up banging on the door," smiled Atsuki while turning the door knob.
" Hey, guys are not allowed to enter Reo's room, she ain't done yet," said Yui while pushing Atsuki away " You too, Katsuki, don't you dare take a peak behind the curtains," threatened Yui " Yui, what is the fuss you're making out there," said Reo while pulling the curtains " No," but before Yui could finish her words, the curtains were already pulled by Reo " You look so, " " Weird? Its my formal wear when I attend balls, " " What I think Katsuki want to say is you look gorgeous, Reo"  chuckled Atsuki " Happy Birthday, Reo" said Atsuki while kissing Reo's hand " Thanks, " " Hey, Atsuki, not fair, how can you express your gratitude first when I haven't," sulked Yui  " Your turned then," said Atsuki while getting up " Happy Birthday, Reo. " said Yui while she too knelt down and kissed Reo's hand " Your present will be given during the party," smiled Yui. Everyone turned and faced Katsuki who was blushing " Do I have to do that too? " " Of course not, you are Reo's important guest, unlike us we are just her ser... ,  Ouch,"  " Didn't I mentioned before that we are friends?" raised Reo's eyebrow " Like I would forgot, but its tradition that we should kiss the ruler's hand as a blessing, " " Happy Birthday, Reo. Your birthday present" said Katsuki while handing out the present box he was holding," " Thanks, so humans normally give their present when they wish the birthday girl or boy, Can I opened it?" " Sure, although Atsuki was the one who picked it," " That was thoughtful of you Atsuki. " " I'll take that as a compliment," said Atsuki while turning away. " Don't tell me this is the...." said Reo when she opened the box, " Yes, in fact it is the Amora Glass," said Atsuki

The party

" Atsuki, " whispered Reo from the balcony and immediately Atsuki knelt down in front of her " Yes, Reo-sama," " Tonight will be the night to compensate for your rudely behavior,  Promise me not to leave one step away from Katsuki," " At your service, my lord," and with that Atsuki disappeared from the balcony leaving Reo alone gazing up the sky

" I can't believed I just promised Reo to stay in her mansion, what was I thinking back then," sighed Katsuki while walking out from the bathroom " Here, put these clothes on," said Atsuki when he saw Katsuki walking out " You must be kidding me right? You expect me to put on formal clothes in your mansion, " exclaimed Katsuki but was shocked when he saw Atsuki fixing his bow tie in front of the mirror " You got a problem?" raised Atsuki's eyebrow " Are you out of mind? Why are you wearing formal clothes? And above all, inside your own mansion?" "  Didn't anyone informed you that, today is Reo's birthday?" " Reo's birthday?!!" " Ya, its normal if you don't know cause Reo seldom talks about herself. The sizes of the clothes should fit you so just put on the clothes. Guests will be arriving from time to time," " Guest? You mean there are other vampires in the human world other than you two?" " Of course they are, you may even know some of them when you see them," chuckled Atsuki " Then, I'll be waiting for you outside the room, we'll pay our respect to Reo on the way down," " But, I didn't prepared anything for her," " Oh, the box on the dresser would be her present from you, please handle it carefully cause it contains something she loves," and witth that Atsuki left the room leaving the shocking Katsuki standing alone in his room " Seriously, what was I thinking when I promised Reo to stay here for the night," 

" Atsuki, " " Yes, may I be at you service, Yui-sama?" knelt down Atsuki " Have you seen Reo? The guest are about to arrive but I can't seem to find her, did you saw her by any chance?" " I wasn't beside Reo-sama for a period of time," " Huh?" My lord had already pass me down an order to not leave his side no matter what happen," " Him?" raised Yui's eyebrow while looking at Katsuki " My name is Katsuki, please take good care of me," " I'm Yui, nice to meet you," smiled Yui " Katsuki, I would like to have a word with Atsuki, would you mind," " Sure, I'll take a walk in the garden," said Katsuki " Please avoid talking to strangers, I'll be there after a short while," and with that Katsuki left Atsuki and Yui 

" The order from my lord was to protect him from anyone and that also includes you, Yui," " So this is the guy that was holding Reo back from coming back to the Red Night? What is so special about him? And, who just drank blood here? Although the cleaning was done extremely well but you can't fooled me," " As expected from Yui," sighed Atsuki " Reo's condition become unstable right after you left, she needed blood and the only person that came to my mind was him. When Reo found out about my intentions, she was furious and refused to see him although she promised to go out with him," " She promised to go out with him?" " It was because he fulfill all of Reo's condition so I made Reo keep her promise, thats why they ended up going out together," sighed Atsuki " Normally, when humans found out we are vampires, they would scream and run for their lives, but he was different. After understanding Reo's condition, he didn't hesitate even once and when to the kitchen to cut his hand," " You mean, the blood was his?!!" " Yeah, Reo came out the instant she felt his intention but he didn't care and cut his hand enabling Reo to lick his blood," " Didn't he know that, letting a vampire drink one's blood is similar to marriage in the human world," " Ya, he did know that through blood, he would be exposing himself to Reo but he just said that he wouldn't care if it could save Reo," " ... I didn't know such human exist in this world, " said Yui softly " Its his choice, so I guess we can only support him from behind," " I understand, but that doesn't mean I've approved of him to hold back Reo here," " How long are you going to be so stubborn? " laughed Atsuki " Stubborn? The one who is stubborn is you, who asked you to use polite speech the moment you saw me?" Well, Katsuki was there so," " I don't care, since when did we have to use polite speech on each other when we already knew each other since young?" sulked Yui " I understand it, I'll never use polite speech again," and with that he used his hands and messed up Yui's hair just like the times when they were young.....

The kiss

"Reo?" " What do you think you're doing?" panted Reo while grabbing Katsuki's hand " I was just thinking of.." " What the hell is wrong with you? Are you deaf or what? Didn't you hear what I said back in the room? I want you to leave this mansion right instance and never come back!" yelled Reo " But,your condition is.." "What do you think I am? A beast that merely feeds on human blood?" " But, Atsuki told me you need human blood and your body is starting to..." " What if I am? You plan to feed me with human blood every time when my condition is unstable?" " I will do it, even if you stop me," said Katsuki and without hesitation he pulled his hand and cut his hand. Blood started to trickle down " Lick it," commanded Katsuki while holding out his bleeding hand to Reo "Put your hand away from me," said Reo while pushing away Katsuki's hand " I'll take some bandage for you so that you can bandage your hand, it seems so bad," said Reo while turning away " What a bothersome girl," said Katsuki and suck blood from his hand and with that, he gently pulled Reo into his arms and kissed her forcing her to drink down the blood in his mouth

" What were you trying to do?" said Reo while pushing Katsuki away " Your eyes," " Shut up, I can't hold up any longer after taking your blood," said Reo while holding her chest " Get out of my way," said Reo while walking up the stairs " Like I would," and with that he grabbed her hands and pulled her back down " Let go of me, do you want me to gone wild and start turning every single human into vampires?" said Reo while struggling to get out from his arm " Then just take my blood, take it! I don't mind if I reveal my real self to you, I don't give damn thing about it, I don't think of you as a beast that merely just feeds on blood, you know I always treat you as a girl," said Katsuki while turning his head away to hide his embarrass face  " I'll take it," whispered Reo and took Katsuki's bleeding hand and started to lick the blood 

" You looked like a kitten licking its milk," chuckled Katsuki while starring at Reo's face " Shut up," said Reo while blushing " Your eyes are finally starting to turn back hazel brown, I'm relieved," smiled Katsuki " There's nothing so happy about it, " sulked Reo " Well, your face expression today is pretty rare you know? I got to see a lot of faces which you normally wouldn't do in public so I actually do enjoyed today, I'm glad I took up the courage to ask you out today," " ......, I'm done. Thanks for the meal," said Reo while rubbing off the remaining blood on her face  "Your wounds are also fully recovered so don't worry about it," " Then, I'll take my leave for now," said Katsuki while letting go Reo " Why don't you stay here for the night? You can borrow Atsuki's clothes," " Huh?" " Well, I kinda make a mess on your shirt and its fully covered in blood, so I was thinking of letting you stay here to clean yourself up," " Sure, It'll be my pleasure," smiled Katsuki " Then please make yourself comfortable and welcome to my mansion,"

The blood and tears....

"Is Reo done yet?" asked Katsuki when Atsuki opened the door " I'm fraid she can't go on a date with you today," " Why?" " She's erm... not feeling well, so it might be best for her to stay indoors with me for the time being," said Atsuki " What happen to her? Did she get hit by a car or something?" " you know what, if a car hit Reo, the car will be the one hurt, it will never hurt Reo and lay a scratch on her," smiled Atsuki " Then, can I see her?" " Sure," smiled Atsuki and led Katsuki into the mansion " Here, it is. Reo's room, well then I'll leave the two alone," and with that Atsuki left Katsuki in front of Reo's doorstep.
Katsuki took a deep breath and knocked on Reo's door, " May I come in?" asked Katsuki " Leave me alone," shouted Reo " Are you ok? you sound so weak," " Just leave me alone won't you? " said Reo while throwing a vase towards the door " Atsuki," said Katsuki while walking to the next room " Yes?" said Atsuki while putting his head out from the bathroom " I'm sorry to bother you but is Reo ok? She told me to leave and locked her room, at first I thought she is just throwing a tantrum but she erm, threw a vase towards me so should you go and have a check on her for me?" " Sure," said Atsuki and closed his eyes " Eh? When did she made a barrier around her room? " " What do you mean?" " Reo made a barrier around her room when I went down to fetch you," exclaimed Atsuki " I can't break into her room with her barrier around it," " Can't you break her barrier?" " Break her barrier? You must be kidding me," chuckled Atsuki " Reo is the next ruler of the red night and do you expect a servant like me to break my master's barrier? I can't even break in even if I sacrifice myself," smiled Atsuki weakly " I guess I made her pretty mad this time," sighed Atsuki while leaning onto the wall " You made her mad? What did you do?" " Her condition is pretty unstable for the time being, and she needs to feed on blood," said Atsuki softly " Blood? Take mine," said Katsuki without hesitation " Are you kidding me? If you let her drink your blood it means that you are exposing your real self to her and she will know about your past, your feelings, your memories, everything! " shouted Atsuki " I don't care! If it means to save her life, I wouldn't hesitate and give her everything because I loved her," said Katsuki " It doesn't matter if she doesn't love me in end, what I can do now is to give her my blood and save her life, that is the most important thing now," said Katsuki while walking towards Reo's door " Reo, open up the door, I don't care if I am exposing my real self to you, what matter the most is your life, I am not forcing you to like me but please don't restrain yourself, please take my blood," " I don't want it, just leave the mansion!" Katsuki ignored Reo and went straight to the kitchen, he inhaled and used the knife and was about to cut his hand when someone stopped him " Reo?" 

That shocking discovery

" Reo, are you ready?" knocked Atsuki from outside " I don't know whether I'll look weird or not, but Erena suggested me to wear something like this," said Reo while opening the door " Do I look weird?" asked Reo " You look ..... gorgeous," said Atsuki " I didn't realize before that you look so good in human clothes," smirked Atsuki " Maybe we should bring some when we go back to the red night to show it to Tsubasa and Yui-sama, I bet it'll be a feast for their eye too," " Are you insulting me?" said Reo while hitting Atsuki's arm " No, please take that as a compliment," said Atsuki cunningly "Somehow, I feel nervous," exclaimed Reo " You should be nervous since it's your first time?" laughed Atsuki " Shall we go down and wait for your prince to come?" " Can you please stop teasing me? " said Reo while walking down the stairs. " Reo, are you ok? You walking is very unstable," said Atsuki while holding Reo who almost fell down. " I'm fine," said Reo while shaking off Atsuki's hand " How many days have you not taken your blood tablet?" asked Atsuki while pushing her on to the wall " Ouch, it hurts, don't simple push people!" " This level of strength shouldn't even lay a scratch on you, Reo! Don't tell me that you stop taking your blood tablets already," shouted Atsuki " Indeed, I stop taking them after the ball, I didn't expect you to realize that soon" said Reo quietly " Why did you stop taking them? You know the consequences!" " I have to stop taking them because it makes me worst," shouted Reo while putting up her hand on her forehead " The more I take, the more I want to feed on people's blood, I have to stop taking them or else I wouldn't know what will happen to the people around us," said Reo while sliding down from the wall " Didn't you mention this to Yui-sama? I felt her presence when you entered the ball," " Yui also realized that my body is starting to wearing out due to the lack of blood, but I still don't want to go back yet, If I take another step into the red night, I will never be able to step out again," said Reo hopelessly " But, you have to go back, or else you might not even stand the sunlight or use your Serena any more," " I know, but what can I do?" sighed Reo " Come with me for a second," said Atsuki while pulling Reo up from the floor and carried her back to her room. " What are you doing?" asked Reo while struggling to get out of Atsuki's arm " I didn't imagined that you can also be as fragile as a human one day," smirked Atsuki " Don't tell me that you intend to give me your blood? You know your blood cannot heal me right?" sulked Reo " Its not me who will help me, it'll be your prince," smiled Atsuki while putting Reo gently on the bed " Him?!!" " Yup, and the plan starts now," said Atsuki while disappearing from the room

That very day that started everything

" Why do I have to go on a date with you?" " I changed," exclaimed Katsuki " But that doesn't mean I have to date a human right?" " Can't you just put aside all the things about the difference about us and for once look at me as an ordinary guy," blushed Katsuki " Kozumi-sama, I think you should keep your promise though," said Atsuki using his telepathy " I know, but I wouldn't want a human to fall in love with me, can't you hear his heartbeat? Its getting faster and faster, is this what they call nervous?" " yeah, I think he really wants you to be his girlfriend and go out for a date," smiled Atsuki. Reo glared towards Atsuki and sighed " All right, I'll go on a date with you tomorrow but please don't tell me to do anything funny since I don't really understand you," said Reo " Really? Then I'll come and pick you up at 10 tomorrow ok?" said Katsuki excitedly " Ya, I don't have any objections to that though," and with that Katsuki let go of Reo's hand and left the room.

" Atsuki, why did you allowed me to go out with a human? You know what will happen if he falls in love with me, you know the consequences but yet you allowed me to go on a date with him?" yelled Reo " Kozumi-sama, you have to keep your promise you know, even if its to a human," accused Atsuki " Since you made me promise to go on a date with him, you have to take up the responsibility and help me out," said Reo " I really don't know what should I do even if its still a date, it ain't the same as the red night" sighed Reo " Well, true since you only attend balls and functions to remain your publicity, but I kinda understand what you should do when you go on a date since Kyouya fill me in some information about it," " Then what should I do?" " In a  date, the girls normally dress out unexpectedly good to attract the guys attention," " Reject, I hold no mutual feelings for him, therefore, I think its unnecessary for me to dress up that well right?" " Ok, then the guy actually plan all the program during a date and the girl only need to follow his pace," " Well, I have no objections to that though, " " Well, Reo, you should avoid Katsuki if he approaches you and lowers down his body," blushed Atsuki while turning away " Atsuki, don't tell me that you are blushing?" approached Reo while looking at Atsuki's face " Kozumi-sama, please don't tease me any more, " " You're using polite speech again," sighed Reo while dropping herself on the bed " I apolo... I'm sorry" said Atsuki while sitting right beside her " I only have you, you know? So stop treating me like a ruler, treat me as a friend won't you?" " Ya, I will," said Atsuki while giving her a smile " Thanks, about the thing you were saying earlier, I don't really understand about it," " Well, according to what Kyouya said, it means that guy is about to kiss you," whispered Atsuki softly " He what," shouted Reo while shooting up from the bed " Reo can you please stop making me mention that word? Its still embarrassing for a vampire you know?" said Atsuki while hiding his face," Oh, ok, Thanks for filling me the information, I'll be more aware with his move and keep alert, I think we should get some sleep now, I am getting tired from this conversation," said Reo while lying down on her bed again, " I'll off the lights, good night Reo," said Atsuki while standing up from bed " Good night, Atsuki,"

The awakening

" Where am I? " asked Reo in her head. I was talking to Yui back then, and I've convince her to give me some time to stay in the human world. What happen next? I can't remember! My heads aching now..... Eh, why is he here, don't tell me that he took care of me when i fainted?" said Reo softly while looking at the tired Katsuki sleeping beside her. Reo gently stroked Katsuki's hair but suddenly stopped while holding her chest. " My pills, where are they," panted Reo while walking down from the bed but she fell down and woke Katsuki, " Reo, where are you going?" asked Katsuki while helping Reo up "Have you seen my pill?" " You mean the pills you were carrying? I left them on the table," "Bring them to me please," begged Reo and Katsuki immediately passed the pills to her. Reo immediately swallowed 2 pills and her face started to look better. " Reo, were your eyes red when you came here? I thought they were hazel brown?" "..., just forget what you see today and never tell a single soul about it," " your eyes... changed back," " yeah, it changes all the time," " are you a ... a... vampire?" gulped Katsuki. " Indeed, " and with that her fangs have already started to grow out from her mouth... " You are really a vampire, no wonder you have a different aura then other people, your friend Atsuki is also one right?" " Yes, I apologized for scaring you, but I can modify your memory if you want, and you won't remember a single thing that you figured out today," smiled Reo while walking towards Katsuki. " your fangs," said Katsuki while taking out his hand to reach it, " Don't touch it, " backed away Reo " you'll be turned into one if my fangs sink into your skin," " Huh," " Unlike those vampires, I'm a vampire from a royal vampire bloodline, if my fangs sink into your skin you will no longer remain human and start to change into a vampire," said Reo while sitting back onto the bed " Atsuki," called Reo " yes, my lord?" appeared Atsuki kneeling in front of Reo " Where did you come from? This is my house ok?" " I apologized again for scaring and brought trouble to you, now if you will excuse me," said Reo and with that she bit her thumb and a drop of blood fell on the ground, striking red light starts to appear and the blood dropped onto the floor formed a magic circle with the shape of a crescent. " Please step into this magic circle, " smiled Reo " Don't tell me you are gonna erased my memory," " I cannot let you be the target of others vampire, and also this has nothing to do with you," said Reo while turning her head away. " You are my girlfriend right?" said Katsuki while grabbing Reo's hand " Let go of me," command Reo "or else your arm will be broken," "Lets go on a date , tomorrow" said Katsuki and with that he kissed her hand like a prince would do...
